The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
